When to upgrade Windows 10 IoT to Windows 11 IoT

The Windows 11 IoT operating system features AI and an enhanced user interface for customers who want to take full advantage of TPM to improve device security or specific customer-facing applications.
If this is not your primary requirement, it is recommended to continue using Windows 10 IoT. Please note that the IoT version of Windows 11 does not currently have a 10-year LTSC support lifecycle. Supports shorter factory lead times and no customization for many embedded functions. 
You should consider multi-app kiosk mode, lack of long-term support, and whether peripheral device drivers are compatible with Windows 11 IoT before adopting this release. The same goes for the 10-year support lifecycle version of Windows 11 IoT LTSC which will be available in 2023 (refer to Microsoft’s announcement for the most details).
