I. Classification of industrial servers:

On the market today, there are two lines of industrial servers

1. 1 CPU server series:

A 1-CPU server is a server with a motherboard that can only install 1 CPU (1 Socket). With a 1 Socket motherboard, users will be able to run 1 physical CPU of Intel’s latest Sandy/Ivy/Hashwell series up to 8 Core/CPU.

2. 2 CPU (dual processor) server series:

With a 2 Socket motherboard, the number of Cores will be accumulated between the 2 physical CPUs and depending on the CPU the user uses, there will be a different number of Cores.
